By elenum team

On September 26th , we were invited with Jesus to a special training session. It was a training of the elenum team. The theme of the training was Sport. 

We went to the Hirvensalo golf course in Turku for a fun and practical training. 
I had never played golf before so I was anxious. Once we arrived on site we equipped ourselves and started playing. 

We first tried to aim at the holes with the balls and then to throw far away.

It is a sport that requires a lot of technique and discipline.

Then we made teams and tried to follow the golf course which was difficult, you had to be precise and target from a distance.

My opinions on this training 

 

I really enjoyed learning more about the habits and hobbies of the Finnish students in my team. It's interesting to know what he likes and does with their weekend. I learned that golf was a sport very popular with the Finns and I was surprised.

Moreover we were able to exchange and discuss in a less academic context so it was very nice. 

I also enjoyed discovering this golf course which was very large and well maintained. It was a first experience for me, I was lucky to learn golf with Finns. It was a beautiful morning!

However, what I didn't like as much was the fact that we didn't have any theoretical knowledge about golf or sport in general. 20 minutes of presentation at the beginning would have been interesting.
