Green marketing Training

On October 8th, I participated in my first training with the venum team, the subject was
Green Marketing.
This is a subject that interests me particularly, which is why I decided to participate. First of all, I sent my pre-task.
We started this training by talking about environmental certifications on products. And why it is important to be aware of these certificates when marketing.
These certifications are essential because they help consumers to find their way around the shelves in a society where there are more and more products.
When you do marketing you have to be specialized in these certifications in order to know all the legislations...
We talked about the society green and green jobs, the new solutions that are emerging.
We also discussed recent studies that have been done recently: more than half of consumers are willing to pay more for responsible products.
Zena the student who led the training presented us with brands that supported these initiatives: such as ECOALF, they go from eco-responsible minds and Pet plastic bottle.
Finally we finished this training by trying to understand why companies should think green. First of all for consumers, then to save money, stock prices and laws and guidance.
During this training we had 3 different tasks. First of all we were in a group and we had to study a certification. We were in charge of the Vihreä Lippu certification. I'll let you discover the slideshow to learn more about it:
The second task was rather playful.
The following question had to be answered: how BA could be more green:
what have been done?
what things could be done?
We imagine a event to reduce the plastic cup to coffee at BA and create a event to customize our BA mug
Personalised with sticker pencil put our names. Finally we ended up with a kahoot with ecological products to win.
As far as my opinion on this training is concerned, It has been very well organized and prepared. It was very interesting and the exercises were just as interesting.
Finally, I think that tackling green marketing is essential when doing business. Because if we follow the trends and fashions of today's society that are defined by the green society. People are also concerned and affected by environmental causes. They want real products that can meet their needs.
I think things are changing right now, it is important to encourage people to do this.
