On Thursday 26 of March, I went to the training session online of Noemie, members of the Sekoitus team. The topics of the training was the Leadership.
The brand management is the art of influencing others (beyond his authority) to thier maximum performance to accomplish any task, objective or project. She said that a true leader is someone we follow not because we have but because we want to.
First she explained to us what is the Characteristics of a leader : Self confidence; self motivation, self control ...
And the difference between a boss and a leader. Like a leader influence their way of being and for exemple he know how to feel better the others.
We learnt the different type of leader.
-
Liberal leader
-
Natural leader
-
autocratic leader
-
democratic leader
-
autocratic leader
-
charismatic leader
-
bureaucratic leader
-
transactional leader
-
transformational leader
We did a test about "leadership skills test" to know what type of leader we are. I was communicative vision 80.
The second part of the training was about "Leadership in a crisis situation". We learnt some advice to know how to deal with a crisis situation like take responsability, enhanced communciation, think solution...
After that, we watched a TED video about the change management, the speaker was Jim Hemerling. The subject of the video was "5 ways to lead in an era of constant change". It was very interesting we learnt that we have to put all the time people first.
Finally we talked about Persuasion and Leardership strategy was very relevant.
And we read an article about "How to have the powerful conversation that will influence people".
The last task of the training was a Role play in which we have to take decisions with our team members. The purpose was to develop communication between team members and conflict resolution.
This task was relevant too because we saw how to manage a group.
In conclusion this training was very interesting in due of the topics and the task. She deal perfectly with fact that the training was online, it wasn't boring so I really appreciate that and the topic is usefull.
