On the 5th of December, Satsuki has presented her training about SNS : Social Network sales with the Sekoitus and Noxit teams.
She started her training by beginning with the definition of social media and the targeting marketing process.
The target marketing process is in 3 step :

First segmenting : divided population in different segment.

Second, targeting : choose a segment

Third, positioning : choose a way to implant product.
After she spoke about « how can we target people ? ». We can actually use 3 different way : data, information and knowledge.
She explained the difference between the three. Knowledges Depend experiences and information is objectif fact.
She explained after the method to improve data to information and information to knowledge. Is the method of the 4C.
Comparison : to compare other situations we have already know
Consequences : to seek the information which can be the factors for decision and actions.
Connections : the relation of the knowledge to others.
Conversation : to understand what other people think about the information.
After theses explications the following step was the first task. We have to analyse a historical video on youtube of one people. And try to analyse it with the method of 4C and try to imagine what we can sell to him, what type of advertising on youtube. So this is our our presentation :
She explained after that in fact youtube use our watch and search data to select the best add for you. She spook about her case with research of Japan idol and she is adverting in youtube about Netflix and landome and lumene, coca cola. So different things who maybe or not interested her.
The next part of her training was about « How we can promote sns ? »
So she describes first all the social media and their way to post advertising like Facebook , tweeter and instagram , what taps and line.
Then, we made the task 2. All the group was in charge of one social media, my group was in charge of tweeter. We had to imagine some advertising to promote the city of Miyagi in Japan. So here you can found our presentation :
To conclude, Targeting is used in SNS to promote or advertise their product or services effectively. We can search the target based on data, information, knowledge and also we improve them by C methods; Finally there are many SNS and the best way for advertising or promoting on the SNS is different.
My opinion about this training is mitigated. The topic was interesting but I found sometimes the content a little too simple and superficial but I found the tasks worked on and original.
