On the 10th of October, we have had the chance to look the live video broadcast of the nordic business forum, which took place in Helsinki. I decided to go there during the afternoon because after having checked the program of the forum, the discussion during the afternoon interested me more.

The first speaker we listened to was Mikko Kuitunen , he's the founder & CEO of Vincit. The subject of this discussion was the future of Work. I think  he was well placed to talk about it because his company Vincit was elected best place to work in Finland. So he gave lots of advices. He say that human connections are very important, it's fundamental to give satisfaction to your employees. It is important to have confidence in their employees, they can work from home and at work . Futhermore he explained how to manage a crisis with our employees, the priority is to be honest and to plan communication strategy very quikly. 

Mikko Kuitunen said that the way to work on the future for a company is to be sustainable.

 

The second speaker was Anssi Rantanen. He is a growth marketing expert, serial entrepreneur, and public speaker. He is currently CEO at Growth Tribe in Finland, an education company that teaches companies the skills that they need in order to succeed. I understand that this guy help a lots of ceo, employees and company. Actually he has helped over 50+ companies implement and execute growth strategies during a 3-year career Google. He said that he adores help people, give advices, recommend somethings, he likes to feel useful, after people thank him. 

Futhermore he was the Winner of the 2019 Speaker Contest, he said that he enjoys speaking and explains things because he's extremely passionate about learning.

It was very interesting and surprising to see a young man with so many knowledges and skills.

The last speaker I listened to was George Clonney,he's an Academy Award-winning actor. It was more like a conversation then really like an interview. Initially, It was supposed to be a conversation on storytelling, branding and legacy but actually it was more a conversation about clonney's life I think. 

He spoke about his inspirations, he said that his wife and his parents is his inspiration for his life. For exemple his parents when he was young to pay all the time attention to other people. 

After he spoke about the secret of his sucess, he advice to stay young in our head, try to dream all the time, learn new things and reinvent themself ,to stay funny and light. He said that the best advice that he can give was "keep going event your fail , get going is the solution,  don’t stop" And finally he says to ask us about what we really want and what we want to change in the world.  

During this conversation, I noticed that he spook a lot of his family, his wife, his parents, I think is very important to have solid basis when you live is life.  

To conclude, this discussion was more about his life less about business but it was very interesting because he's charismatic, funny, clever, thoughtful and he has lots of experience, many things to learn to us.

Concerning my opinion about this event, it was very enriching to listen to business man explains their business story. It all the time good to receive advices of professional during our studies because it's really motivating and encouraging. We say to ourselves that it is possible to succeed. 

With regard to what has been less well, I think it was too bad to just have the video broadcast and not was in Helsinki. Because sometime it was difficult to understand all what they say, we were not in the mood of the event, some were talking in the broadcast room But I'am aware that this event is expensive and that we are already lucky.
